2019 elections: Buhari’s minister, Khadija Ibrahim resigns

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Khadija Ibrahim, has resigned her appointment from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.

Ibrahim confirmed her resignation to State House Correspondents while disclosing that Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting will be her last.
The former minister, who is contesting for a seat in the House of Representatives in the February 16 general election, made the disclosure shortly before the weekly meeting.
She is running to represent Damaturu/Tarmuwa/Gujba/Gulani federal constituency of Yobe State.
She defeated her son-in-law, Mohammed Ibrahim, to emerge as the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the election.                                                                                                                                                                                     elvisnewsmedia blogspot.com
